I've been going back and forth between barbers and salons for a while now trying to find someone who actually knows what to do with longer hair. A friend recommended Yuri and honestly she's been the best person I've gone to for my hair.
What sets her apart is she actually studies your hair before she does anything. Texture, growth pattern, how it falls, all of it. Most places just start cutting and hope it works out. She has a plan before the scissors even come out, and it shows. I finally got the clean, put together "old money" look I've been trying to describe to people for years, and it's held up well between appointments too, which tells you the cut itself was done right.
The extras are a nice bonus. Drinks in the studio, hot towel after the wash, small things that add up to a genuinely relaxing appointment instead of a rushed one.
Barbers just aren't built for long hair, most of them are trained for short, structured cuts and it shows the second you ask for anything more nuanced. If you've got length and want someone who treats it like a real skill instead of an afterthought, book with Yuri.

Finding someone who truly understands how to cut and shape curls is difficult, but Yuri consistently delivers every time. She cuts and styles it in a way that looks great both when I leave the studio and weeks (or sometimes months) later as it grows out. Every appointment is thorough, unhurried, and focused on getting the cut right. Yuri goes above and beyond to leave my hair looking better than it does when I come in. This is a quint little studio who is owned by the one and only stylist. I went here because i was looking for a new barber after moving. I dont do any of the fades or modern cuts, rather was looking for a traditional scissor cut. She specializes with these types of cuts and actually exceeded my expectations. She takes her time cutting and analyzing which hair style you want, and you can tell she is very passionate about it. I will be going back.

I can’t say enough good things about Yuri and Twin Blades Studio. Every haircut is consistently excellent—Yuri truly takes her time and makes sure I leave looking my absolute best. It’s more than just a haircut, though. The extras like the hot towel and scalp massage make it feel like a mini spa day, and it’s become my monthly escape from everyday stress.
I used to go to a traditional barber, but since switching to Yuri, my hair has never looked better. It grows out perfectly, and even 4–5 weeks after a cut, it still looks sharp. That’s the mark of true quality. Highly recommend Yuri if you want precision, care, and a little luxury in your life.

I've been going back and forth between barbers and salons for a while now trying to find someone who actually knows what to do with longer hair. A friend recommended Yuri and honestly she's been the best person I've gone to for my hair.
What sets her apart is she actually studies your hair before she does anything. Texture, growth pattern, how it falls, all of it. Most places just start cutting and hope it works out. She has a plan before the scissors even come out, and it shows. I finally got the clean, put together "old money" look I've been trying to describe to people for years, and it's held up well between appointments too, which tells you the cut itself was done right.
The extras are a nice bonus. Drinks in the studio, hot towel after the wash, small things that add up to a genuinely relaxing appointment instead of a rushed one.
Barbers just aren't built for long hair, most of them are trained for short, structured cuts and it shows the second you ask for anything more nuanced. If you've got length and want someone who treats it like a real skill instead of an afterthought, book with Yuri.

I've been going to Twin Blades for three years now, and there's nobody else I trust with my curly hair. Finding someone who truly understands how to cut and shape curls is difficult, but Yuri consistently delivers every time. She cuts and styles it in a way that looks great both when I leave the studio and weeks (or sometimes months) later as it grows out. Every appointment is thorough, unhurried, and focused on getting the cut right. Yuri goes above and beyond to leave my hair looking better than it does when I come in. Without a doubt, Twin Blades is the best hair studio in Scottsdale for a scissor cut, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a stylist who genuinely cares about their craft.

A friend of mine referred Twin Blade to me. We have been searching for the best hair stylist for years that does exactly what we vision. SHE NAILED IT!! Very professional. Asks questions while providing great advice on styling. Hot towel treatment. Gives ample time slot for customers so you feel comfortable and she can take her time to get it perfect. Scissor cut with clean up. Came out more than perfect. Highly recommend.

This is a quint little studio who is owned by the one and only stylist. I went here because i was looking for a new barber after moving. I dont do any of the fades or modern cuts, rather was looking for a traditional scissor cut. She specializes with these types of cuts and actually exceeded my expectations. She takes her time cutting and analyzing which hair style you want, and you can tell she is very passionate about it. I will be going back.

I can’t say enough good things about Yuri and Twin Blades Studio. Every haircut is consistently excellent—Yuri truly takes her time and makes sure I leave looking my absolute best. It’s more than just a haircut, though. The extras like the hot towel and scalp massage make it feel like a mini spa day, and it’s become my monthly escape from everyday stress.
I used to go to a traditional barber, but since switching to Yuri, my hair has never looked better. It grows out perfectly, and even 4–5 weeks after a cut, it still looks sharp. That’s the mark of true quality. Highly recommend Yuri if you want precision, care, and a little luxury in your life.
